SaaS Pricing Models Analysis for Tech Modernization
A partner and managing director from a top global consultancy sought assistance from our team to conduct industry research concerning tech and digital modernization. The client’s interest lay in exploring the typical pricing models of digital applications that focus on automating tasks related to the bankruptcy administration process.
In response to this request, our solution involved several key steps. Firstly, we assisted the client in shortlisting major Software as a Service (SaaS) providers globally. Subsequently, we identified typical pricing models for SaaS offerings, encompassing monthly fixed costs, optional fees, and bankruptcy-related services where available. Additionally, we provided insights into the common variables influencing cost estimation by product for some of the most recognized SaaS providers.
The outcome of our efforts was the design of a benchmark tool. This tool was crafted to facilitate the comparison of diverse pricing models, primarily focusing on costs. It ensured the comparability of analysis by incorporating price estimators developed by various SaaS providers. Moreover, we aided the client in understanding the composition of a typical SaaS fee by categorizing service offerings based on different solution sets, tracking diverse service and functionality offerings, analyzing cost disparities between customized and pre-built solutions, and highlighting engagement measures offered by SaaS providers such as free trial programs.
